CFO Advisory

The financial leadership your business needs to grow.

A full-time CFO costs $200K+ per year. Most small businesses don’t need that — they need the same strategic thinking, applied to their specific situation, at a price that makes sense. That’s exactly what we provide.

Most small businesses are flying blind financially.

Having clean books is necessary — but it’s not enough. Knowing what happened last month is very different from knowing where you’re going next quarter, whether you can afford to hire, or how to structure a deal to protect your margin.

A CFO doesn’t just report the numbers — they help you understand what the numbers mean, spot risks before they become problems, and build a financial strategy that matches your growth ambitions.

Our fractional CFO service gives you that expertise without the full-time overhead. You get a strategic financial partner who knows your business and shows up consistently — not just at year-end.

Common questions.

What’s the difference between a bookkeeper and a CFO advisor?

A bookkeeper records what happened. A CFO advisor tells you what it means, what’s coming, and what you should do about it. Both are valuable — but only one helps you make better decisions going forward.

Do I need to have bookkeeping handled first?

Ideally yes — CFO advisory is most powerful when your books are clean and current. If you need both, we can bundle bookkeeping and CFO services together for a complete solution.

How many hours per month do I actually get?

Our Core plan includes up to 4 hours/month, Growth up to 8 hours, and Executive 12+ hours. In practice, this covers your monthly review call, reporting, and ongoing model updates — with room for ad-hoc questions.

Can I start with CFO advisory and add more later?

Absolutely. Many clients start with Core and move to Growth as their business scales and their needs deepen. There’s no penalty for upgrading.

Is there a long-term contract?

No. We work month-to-month. We believe the relationship should continue because it’s valuable, not because you’re locked in.
